this Philadelphia 76ers have announced Spectrum Sprint, a retro-inspired mobile game developed in partnership with Crypto.com. This free game combines classic side-scroll gameplay with web3 technology and allows players to win Digital collections and other awards
Featuring landmarks of Philadelphia and the finish line at the historic Spectrum Arena, the game gives fans the opportunity to compete in various difficulty levels for prizes. Prizes range from courtside seats and exclusive event invitations to private suites for future games.
The game will also be present in person at select 76ers home games through pop-up games, giving fans more opportunities to play and engage with the initiative.
What is Spectrum Sprint?
Spectrum Sprint uses pixel art graphics and side scrolling mechanics reminiscent of classic arcade games. Players control their character Philadelphia Landmarks, including Broad Street, to get to the Spectrum Arena, a place with deep ties to the team's history.
Contestants can compete in one of four categories—Rookie, Pro, Stars, and Legend—with leaderboards tracking the highest score. Prizes include courtside tickets, an invitation to the Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, and a private suite for 12 guests during a game in the 2025-26 NBA season.
High scorers also unlock unique digital collectibles through the game.
Part of a wider initiative
This game was developed by Impossible Brief as the second part of a three-game series celebrating the Nike City Edition 76ers uniforms. The first game, Buckets on Broad, was released in November, and the final title will be released in March.
Fans attending Spirit of 76 Night games can play Spectrum Sprint at pop-up gaming stations at the Wells Fargo Center. The setup also allows participants to create Crypto.com accounts, connecting the game to the broader web3 initiative.
Partnership with Crypto.com It reflects the 76ers' approach to integrating technology into sports and fan engagement, while highlighting key elements of the team's heritage.
